🎴Three of Pentacles & The Seelbach🥂
Gather Ingredients:
Sparkling Wine
Bourbon
Curacao (or Orange Liqueur)
Peychauds Bitters
Angostura Bitters
1 Orange
Suggested Brands and/or bottles:
Bourbon - Buffalo Trace, Eagle Rare,
Curacao - Cointreau, Grand Marneir
Sparkling Wine Style - Prosecco, Cava, Champagne
Tools & Prep Needed
Pint or mixing Glass
Stirring Spoon, Chopstick or Knife
Jigger or Shot Glass
Ice
*Twist of Orange
*Creating a Twist of Orange:
Picture the Orange as having one end as the "north pole" and the other as a "south pole". Using a citrus peeler create a twist by starting from one proverbial "pole" of the orange and peeling down to the opposite "pole". Bravo you have your twist!
Your "mise" is now ready lets create some alchemy.

🥂The Seelbach🥂
1 oz Bourbon
0.5 oz Orange Liqueur
7 Dashes Peychauds Bitters
7 Dashes Angostura Bitters
Sparkling Wine
Method
Combine the ingredients into your mixing glass except the sparkling wine, then add ice.
Stir, stir and look demurely around the room imparting a bit of your soul into this well chilled drink.
Strain into the flute
Top with sparkling wine
Garnish: Twist of Orange. With the twist above the flute pretty side facing down give it a quick pinch allowing the oils to alight on top of the glass and liquid.
Twist the twist so is a loose curl.
Place in the flute with one part of the curl over the lip of the glass.
Take a subtle sip and lets discuss the 3 of Pentacles

Put simply, the Three of Pentacles serves as a reminder of the inherent challenge in undertaking tasks that demand our skill and talent. It encourages us to embrace the work we've been assigned, recognizing our own capabilities while also acknowledging the abilities of those we collaborate with.
Think of it like an orchestra: each musician plays their instrument to the best of their ability. A drummer, for instance, wouldn't excel if they attempted to play every instrument. Instead, by focusing on their own instrument and perfecting their skills, they contribute to a harmonious ensemble where each member's strengths support the collective outcome.
What roles are you playing in your collaborations—where can you focus in on your skills? Where can you trust more openly in your abilities and those of your collaborators?
Personally, I'm currently engaged in a collab and trusting in others is a challenge, trusting in my role and abilities is a challenge. The fear of failure and letting others down looms large, but I recognize that without taking risks, the final creation won't be as magical without all involved.
